Nota ringkas What do you like?

Setiap hentian memberi murid satu kad fakta selepas lulus. Ini kad bagi unit ini:

• hang outhang out with friends = spend free time with friends (lepak bersama kawan). Example: We hang out at the park after school.
• play an instrumentplay a musical instrument = main alat muzik. Example: Danial can play the guitar and the keyboard.
• usuallyalways, usually, often, sometimes, never go BEFORE the main verb: I usually play badminton. They go AFTER am/is/are: She is always happy.
• at the momentnow, at the moment, today and tonight often go with the present continuous: We are watching a film at the moment.
• sign upsign up = register to join something (mendaftar). Example: I signed up for the Drama Club.
• weekdayweekdays = Monday to Friday. The weekend = Saturday and Sunday.
• once a monthonce = one time, twice = two times. once a month = sebulan sekali. Example: We go to the cinema once a month.
• voice messageA voice message is a short recording you send on a phone app. Listen for WHO, WHERE, WHAT and WHEN.
• terribleterrible = very bad (sangat teruk). Opposite: wonderful. Example: The traffic was terrible this morning.
• main ideaThe main idea is what the WHOLE text is about, not just one detail. Read the title and the first sentence of each paragraph.
• -s for he/sheIn the present simple, he, she, it and names take -s: He plays. She watches. My dad goes. Check this first when you edit!
• capital lettersUse capital letters for the start of a sentence, I, names, days and months: On Friday, Siti and I go to the gym.

Contoh ulasan PBD

Selepas murid bermain, Jejak TP English mencadangkan TP dan ulasan seperti di bawah. Guru menyemak, kemudian menyalin ulasan ke dalam rekod PBD.

TP1: Murid recognises a few basic words on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous with a lot of support. Suggestion: revise the word cards in Stop 1 with a friend and use pictures to remember the meanings.

TP2: Murid understands key vocabulary on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous but still makes basic grammar errors. Suggestion: practise short sentences using the target grammar every day.

TP3: Murid reads short texts on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous and finds specific details accurately. Murid achieves the expected target for this unit.

TP4: Murid understands spoken English on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous and identifies main ideas and specific details well. Murid is working towards exceeding the target.

TP5: Murid reads longer texts on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous, makes good inferences and guesses the meaning of unfamiliar words from context. Very good progress.

TP6: Murid uses English accurately and independently on free-time activities, skills and the present simple and present continuous, corrects errors and builds well-organised sentences. Murid exceeds the target and is an exemplary model to others.
